About us
K2 Surveyors are Independent* Specialist Roofing Surveyors and Consultants serving the Residential, Commercial and Industrial sectors in the North of England and Midlands in the UK.
We have been operating drones professionally since 2017 and use them extensively as an inspection and surveying tool. Our current drone operations are conducted within the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Open Category, appropriate to the nature and risk of each inspection or survey.
K2 Surveyors was founded upon a desire to provide friendly, independent*, impartial help and professional advice.

We have operated drones professionally since 2017, previously holding a CAA Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO) and subsequently a PDRA-01 Operational Authorisation for operations within the Specific Category. Our Remote Pilot currently holds both the CAA General VLOS Certificate (GVC) and A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC).

We are trained in Aerial Mapping and Photogrammetry using Multi-Rotor UAS.

Our insurance cover is fully compliant with EU regulation EC785/2004 and we can provide between £5-10 million cover to suit your requirements.

All our inspections and surveys are carried out in strict accordance with current Health & Safety Executive and CAA Regulations. We are also CSCS Card and Enhanced DBS Certificate holders.

We operate a policy of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to maintain and enhance our skills and knowledge to ensure we provide the safest and best services possible.

Being specialist Roofing Surveyors and Consultants, as well as experienced drone operators, means we can analyse the captured imagery and survey data in-house and provide detailed Visual Condition Reports, including recommendations and measured take-offs where required.
